There is something quietly unsettling at the heart of “You Are Time.” Osinaël’s new single begins as a story of attraction, but gradually reveals itself to be about something more difficult: the fear of disappearing inside another person’s expectations.
Set against a polished electro-pop production, the track moves between intimacy and release. Its atmospheric synths and steady rhythmic pulse create a sense of forward motion, even as the lyrics remain suspended between desire and doubt. Osinaël’s vocal performance carries that contradiction convincingly, shifting from vulnerability to determination without losing its restraint.
The narrator is not simply deciding whether to stay or leave. She is trying to understand what the relationship is asking her to become. Does the person she loves truly see her, or only the role she is expected to play? That uncertainty gives weight to the song’s recurring question: “Are you the wolf or reason?”

Following “J’ADORE,” the highest new entry on the Top 40 Club chart, Osinaël appears less interested in repeating a formula than in expanding her artistic language. “You Are Time” is danceable, but its emotional centre remains unresolved. That may be precisely what makes it effective. The song does not promise that love will provide certainty. It suggests instead that time gives us the distance to see more clearly and the freedom to choose what happens next.
